What is luxury catering?

Luxury-style catering is a premium, elevated dining experience that focuses on high-quality ingredients, curated menus, refined presentation, and exceptional service. With The Nelly Experience, luxury catering means intimate, personalized menus, beautifully styled food displays, elegant décor touches, and a chef-driven experience designed to make your event feel exclusive, intentional, and unforgettable. It's not just food-it's a full sensory dining experience tailored specifically to you and your guests.

The Nelly Experience currently provides services throughout New York City, as well as North and South

New Jersey

What is your booking rate?

Booking rates vary and are customized for each client. Your quote is determined by several factors, including the number of guests, your selected menu, the preparation process (whether food is prepared in-home or prepared ahead of the event), any personal customizations such as flowers, candles, linens, or décor, as well as travel costs, grocery expenses, and the chef's service rate. All of these elements help ensure a personalized and elevated experience tailored specifically to your event.


Services start at $850, with a maximum quoted amount of up to $4,000 depending on the event and customization needs.

How do I book you?

You have two booking options, depending on the level of guidance you prefer:


Quick Book Option:

If you have a clear vision for your event and services needed, skip the consultation and click the “Quick Book” link. Complete the inquiry form to receive a personalized quote within 24-48hrs— if your desired date is available.


30min One-on-one Phone Consultation Option:

For a more hands-on, one-on-one booking experience, schedule a phone consultation to complete the inquiry form directly with Chef Nelly. During this call, we’ll review all event details, menu selections, curate your personalized menu and quote.


After your consultation or Quick book inquiry quote is sent— if you decide to move forward, a 50% deposit is required immediately to secure your date and the services discussed.

Do you have a guest limit for events?

Yes. I specialize in smaller gatherings and intimate occasions, with a catering capacity of 8-50 guests.

For in-home private chef services, the minimum is 1 guest and the maximum is 8 guests.


If you are having more then 8 guest, you MUST book under a regular brunch or dinner catering package starting @$1,250.

What is The Nelly Experience "Luxe Eats To-Go”?

[ONLY AVAILABLE IN NYC]


Luxe Eats To Go is my exclusive, to-go version of The Nelly Experience catering. Each week, I personally curate private chef platters and desserts, available for pre-order to a maximum of 20 customers. This service allows those who don't need full catering to still enjoy the luxury flavors and elevated presentation of The Nelly Experience.


Pre-orders open every Thursday from 2-10 PM, with deliveries made between 1:30-8:30 PM on Saturday. Customers can select an estimated delivery time slot within that window.


Orders are delivered via Uber Courier, and delivery fees are calculated based on neighborhood and distance.

If your address is not listed within the standard delivery range, you may DM to confirm-as long as you are within the five boroughs, delivery may still be accommodated, though a higher delivery fee will apply.

Does The Nelly Experience do pop-ups or accept vendor opportunities?

No, The Nelly Experience does not participate in pop-ups or vendor events. I focus exclusively on providing private chef services and catering for intimate, personalized gatherings.

Do you offer "drop-off" catering if a kitchen is not available?

Yes, absolutely! This would fall under my Drop-Off Luxe Catering Package, which starts at $1,000. Your menu is freshly prepared the same day, ahead of your event, and delivered hot, fresh, and ready for immediate setup. You'll still enjoy a visually stunning, luxury-style food display-complete with elegant décor elements-without the wait or need for on-site cooking.

Does The Nelly Experience offer refunds for cancellations?

No. All deposits are final. Once a deposit is paid, the only option is to reschedule to another date, provided the new date falls within 15 days of the original event. Rescheduling must be requested at least 7 days prior to the original event date. 


If rescheduling is not possible and the event must be canceled, the paid deposit will be forfeited and all agreed-upon services will be considered void.

What payment methods does The Nelly Experience accept for bookings?

PAYMENTS ACCEPTED:

Once you receive your quote, payment can be made via Zelle. Zelle is required for any booking totaling over $900.


Can I use Cash App?

Yes. For quotes $900 or less, payments may be made using Cash App or Zelle.


Can I switch payment methods after paying my deposit?

NO. The same payment method used for the deposit must be used for the remaining balance due.

How can I discuss collaboration opportunities?
